Terms of Service
Last updated 16 October 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Fronko (“Fronko”, “we”, “us”) for your use of Fronko, the digital business card service at fronko.com and its apps (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for a company or other organisation, you agree to them on its behalf and confirm you’re allowed to, and “you” means that organisation.
1. The Service
Fronko lets you create digital business cards, share them by link, NFC and QR code, collect contact details from the people you share them with (“leads”), and manage cards and people across your organisation. We may change or improve the Service over time. If we remove a feature that is a material part of a paid plan, we’ll tell you in advance.
2. Accounts and organisations
- You must be at least 16 years old and give accurate information when you sign up.
- Every account belongs to an organisation. The person who registers is its owner and controls the organisation, its plan and billing, and the accounts of people added to it.
- Keep your password safe. You’re responsible for what happens under your account and your organisation’s accounts. Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think one has been compromised.
3. Plans, trials and payment
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries about payments and handles returns. When you buy a paid plan you also agree to Paddle’s Buyer Terms.
- Free plan. The Free plan is free for as long as we offer it, with the limits shown on our pricing page.
- Subscriptions. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes, which Paddle adds where they apply.
- Free trials. A trial asks for a payment method. Unless you cancel before it ends, it turns into a paid subscription and you’ll be charged the plan’s price on the day the trial ends. We email you a few days before.
- Per-seat plans. On plans priced per member, everyone in your organisation is a seat. Adding or removing people changes your subscription, prorated.
- Changes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. You can cancel at any time from Billing in your dashboard; your plan stays until the end of the period you paid for, then your organisation moves to the Free plan.
- Price changes. We may change our prices. A new price applies to your subscription only from your next renewal after we’ve given you at least 30 days’ notice.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails, we and Paddle will retry it. If it still hasn’t succeeded after a grace period, your organisation moves to the Free plan.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
4. Plan limits
Each plan has limits, such as how many cards, members and how much storage it includes. If your organisation goes over a limit, for example after moving to a smaller plan, nothing is deleted: the owner chooses which cards and members stay active, and the rest are paused until you’re back within the limit or upgrade.
5. Your content and data
You keep all rights to what you put into Fronko: card details, photos, files and the leads your cards collect (“Your Content”). You give us permission to host, copy, process and display Your Content only as needed to run the Service for you, for example to show your public cards to the people you share them with.
For personal data in Your Content, such as your team’s cards and your leads, your organisation is the controller and we process it on your behalf under our Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data for which we are the controller, such as account details.
You’re responsible for Your Content and for having the right to use it, including telling the people whose details you collect how you’ll use them. You can set a link to your own privacy notice in your organisation’s settings; it’s shown on your cards’ contact forms.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use Fronko to:
- send spam, run scams or phishing, or collect passwords or payment details;
- pretend to be another person or organisation, or mislead people about who you are;
- publish content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or violent, or that infringes others’ rights;
- upload malware, or try to break, overload or get around the security or limits of the Service;
- access other organisations’ data, or scrape, resell or sublicense the Service without our written agreement.
Anyone can report a card that breaks these rules with the “Report” link at the bottom of every card. We may remove content, or suspend an organisation, that breaks these Terms, and where we can we’ll tell the owner why.
7. Our rights
The Service, its software, design and the Fronko name and logo belong to us. These Terms don’t give you any rights to them except to use the Service as described. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you.
8. Integrations and third parties
You can connect Fronko to other services, such as a CRM, an automation tool, a booking page or an identity provider. When you do, you ask us to send them data on your behalf, and their own terms apply to how they use it. We aren’t responsible for services we don’t run.
9. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Fronko and delete your account or organisation at any time from Settings. Deleting an organisation deletes its cards, leads and files straight away, and any subscription is cancelled. You can download your data first.
We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if you don’t pay, or if we’re required to by law. If we stop offering the Service altogether, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice so you can download your data, and refund any prepaid fees for the time after it ends.
10. Disclaimers
We work hard to keep Fronko available and secure, but the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we don’t give any warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can’t be limited by law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data, and our total liability arising out of these Terms in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in that period (or US$100 if you’re on the Free plan). These limits don’t apply to liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we’ll tell owners by email or in the dashboard at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using Fronko after that, the new Terms apply; if you don’t agree, you can cancel and delete your account.
13. General
These Terms, with the documents they refer to, are the whole agreement between us about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them to a company that takes over the Service. These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where Fronko is established, and its courts have jurisdiction, without affecting any consumer rights you have where you live.
